Dear Parent / Carer,

At the point of lockdown in March, we changed the Prom dates in the hope that, after all the disappointment the students had experienced, we would be able to have a celebration with them.

Initially, we were offered an event for 80 people, however, this would be without dancing or a DJ. On checking with Ramside Hall again today they have informed us that due to restrictions they must limit the numbers to 30.

This is clearly not the Prom experience that students would want and the number permitted would nowhere near allow us to accommodate the students and staff.

It is with deep regret, therefore, that we will have to cancel the Prom. A full refund for the event will be given in due course. Our deepest apologies, but we are in unprecedented times.

When restrictions are lifted, we will try to offer an event within the Academy.
