Washington Academy is seeking to appoint an inspiring, energetic and dedicated individual to deliver to the high standards required by the English department of our Academy. The successful candidate will need drive, stamina and a creative intellect with the capacity to augment the continual development programme undertaken for the benefit of our students. We are looking for someone who will inspire and enthuse students, delivering an outstanding and enriched curriculum with the capability to further enhance outcomes at KS4. The successful candidate will join a busy and extremely enthusiastic department. Washington Academy offers staff excellent resources in a state-of-the-art building, our staff are fully committed to helping our students gain the best possible progress.

 

Washington Academy is a successful Academy judged to be Grade 2, ‘good’ in all four Ofsted categories.  We believe that by developing positive relationships within our Academy community, as well as with all stakeholders, we can more positively impact upon the education of the whole child.
