Senior Administrator/Personal Assistant to Headteacher

(Includes administrative and secretarial support to SLT and Business Manager)

 

Salary: NJC 16-20 – £23,369 – £25,295

Full-time, all year round, permanent position to commence asap.

 

 

As a key role within the academy’s Business Support Team the successful applicant will have extensive, proven, administrative and secretarial experience.

 

The post holder will be responsible for all administrative and secretarial requirements ensuring efficient and effective support to the Headteacher in managing and leading Washington Academy. The post holder will also provide administrative and secretarial support to the Business Manager for all human resource, personnel and recruitment matters and manage and support whole school events and functions. The post holder could also be requested to support any delivery area with the academy’s Business Support Service within the remit of the salary grade.

 

The post holder will be expected to show absolute confidentiality and discretion at all times.

 

Flexibility to work occasionally early or late as necessary in response to diarised commitments and non-diarised occasions/events only where support of the Headteacher is paramount. The post holder will also be expected to work to ensure the Headteacher is provided with an efficient and effective recruitment program and whole school functions/events are suitably devised and managed and delivered.
