Student Success!

Four students went to present to Washington Ward Councillors to bid for funding.

Rebecca Lloyd, Keegan Dent, Charlie Banks and Airon Peacock-Jones pitched their ideas to the panel and both projects were successful!

Rebecca was awarded £1000 for a year long project aimed at making sure the oldest residents in our community are not isolated and lonely. Rebecca is pictured supporting Children In Need today in the academy.

Keegan, Charlie and Airon were awarded £1000 to help revamp the garden in our Enhanced Resource Provision, including sensory area, vegetable patch and making their own picnic tables.

Follow the students projects throughout the year with regular updates as activities take place.
